Intuit is looking to fill a PMO Leader - Manager position for the Project Management Organization within the People and Places Global Real Estate & Workplace Services team.  We’re looking for a talented and experienced senior manager who will help Intuit’s Workplace team support the company’s domestic and international growth.     In addition to specific skills and responsibilities, you will: Be Intuit’s Subject Matter Expert driving high performing, cross-functional teams implementing projects across Intuit’s expanding North American and global portfolio. Responsibilities: Delivery of Intuit global and domestic capital projects, successful achievement of primary metrics and delivering an awesome project and delivery experience that exceeds customer expectations Drives cross-functional execution of a program, from requirements to delivery and ensures that a program delivers on time with high quality, within budget and in accordance with stated business and technical objectives Serve as Project Leader, with responsibility for PMO group, overall project delivery and team success Plan and manage projects from initiation through delivery, providing support, direction and functional or technical expertise for the project team Provide inspirational leadership for the PMO program and project managers, along with assigning duties and project responsibilities, provide guidance, evaluate staff performance and deliver productive feedback Reporting out on project status, Workplace procedures and implementation of industry best practices Meet the needs of both external and internal customers throughout the project delivery cycle Manage 3rd party project specific Project Managers; provide guidance, evaluate performance, and deliver productive feedback Develop conceptual estimates and schedule information for early project evaluation and assessment Operate independently and frequently interact with senior management to help set strategic guidance Documentation of business, technical, and functional requirements to support implementation Maintain and update project benchmarking and record archiving for completed projects Review of design and construction related RFPs, proposals, contracts and insurance requirements, with input from appropriate internal support teams Provide guidance, support and integration with Intuit Design Team Collaborate with key partners in Finance, Corporate Communications, Space Planning & Occupancy, Technology, Security, Critical Systems, IT, Food Services, Accounting and Site Operations Ability to fulfill different roles in a project and to mentor as well as execute Requirements: 15 to 20 years of progressive career building experience in program and project management Strong leadership qualities and experience leading project teams Extensive program and project management experience overseeing capital projects Proven track record in end to end delivery of substantial commercial building improvements Broad based experience in design and construction Detailed knowledge of designer, consultant and contractor scope of services and ability to negotiate competitive cost on Intuit behalf Provide lease, work letter and exhibits reviews and feedback, perform site tours and evaluate applicability to business unit requirements, coordinate resources for due diligence and early start activities Degree in a Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture major (preferred) Experience directing and managing designers, consultants, project teams and the design delivery process Ability to direct, manage, review and oversee multiple projects and/or project teams on an ongoing basis Has sufficient understanding of process methodology to drive best practices and process improvements Have a collaborative mindset and attitude, and ability to flex to differing situations and personalities Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal International project experience is not required, but would be considered a positive Excellent computer skills with Excel, MS Project, database storage systems (Box.com) and Oracle
