Description

Are you excited to be a critical member of our finance team, responsible for Prepare financial modeling and analysis to support and guide acquisition and/or disposition of investments, asset management and refinancing? Would you like to be a key player on a team that not only delivers luxury multifamily projects of distinction and design but also hyperscale datacenters across the globe?

If so, you may be just who we’re looking for to join our team as a Sr. Manager of Finance

Our residential multifamily development firm, Dalian Development, LLC, was founded by Hossein Fateh—the pioneer of data center REITs, former CEO of the publicly-listed company, DuPont Fabros Technology and current owner of CloudHQ, LLC. Our purpose at CloudHQ is to provide flexible, efficient and resilient data center solutions. CloudHQ has state of the art data center sites under control in North Virginia, London, Frankfurt and Paris and we anticipate exponential growth over the next several years in the US and abroad. Mr. Fateh is also the co-founder of Falvez Energy, LLC with wind farm projects in the US and Mexico. Over the years, our many projects have thrived because our team of people is entrepreneurial, thinks creatively, gets outside of the box, and demonstrates true leadership.

This position is based in our DC headquarters, just a short walk from the Metro Center station.

You might be a good fit if you are:

  • Meticulous when it comes to details: This role is a pivotal part of ensuring that our operations run smoothly for our clients, our vendors and our team members. You will maintain and run financial models on existing funds, assets and/or acquisitions using Argus, DCF Models or other similar financial tools; create sophisticated analyses for tracking and reviewing returns and performance on asset and fund levels; and analyze and monitor the financial performance of properties. Your work will include forecasting cash distributions and cash requirements. You will be involved in updating and completing various investor reports, including financial snapshots and qualitative summaries. In return for your strong organizational skills, we’ll entrust you with important responsibilities such as collaborating with management in executing business plans.

  • Curious and have business acumen: Our business is fast-paced and complex. In this role, you will have exposure to challenging assignments such as analyzing the overall market and monitor industry trends; performing due diligence and underwriting of prospective acquisitions and developments; and conduct sub-market research, including the collection and analysis of numerous categories of market data.

  • Driven to achieve your goals, yet flexible: We expect all team members to be highly motivated to work in an environment that values innovation and understands that the nature of our business sometimes leads to changes in priorities. Your desire for success will ensure that projects are moving forward, with a sense of urgency, regardless of the challenges. A sense of humor helps.

  • Can meet these basic qualifications & attributes: Do you have 8+ years of experience in real estate finance with either a BA or an MBA? Do you have strong quantitative skills? In addition to MS Office, Argus software experience is preferred. Are you known for your work ethic and desire to “do what it takes to get it done right the first time?” You also need to be able to demonstrate your ability to multi-task and be self-motivated.

Sound like you? Then let’s chat more! We’ll be happy to tell you more about our culture, our values and the benefits and perks of working with us, such as: 401(k) match that vests immediately, annual bonus opportunities for all team members, 11 paid holidays plus four weeks of paid time off and a casual and collaborative environment.
