As Realty Income’s Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be joining a growing team of Human Resources Professionals. Working alongside the HR Talent Partner, and Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be responsible in leading the company’s recruiting efforts. You will be managing a team whose goal is to attract top talent across all functional areas at all level to support the company’s ongoing growth and expansion needs. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Human Resources, this is a highly visible role that requires strong partnering skills with a demonstrated ability to develop, manage and execute a talent acquisition strategy.

Development and execution of talent acquisition strategy to include DE&I

  • Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner but particularly from the perspective of talent acquisition. Help identify key performance factors, develop sourcing pools and establish interviewing criteria
  • Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns with an emphasis on identifying a diverse candidate pool
  • Develop, monitor, and evaluate the return on investment for recruitment spend; responsible for the global recruitment budget, forecasting, and managing effective investment in this area including market best practices for vendor rates and fees.
  • Establish and develop a network of strong relationships with company leadership, diverse candidates and partner organizations. Focus on development of strong relationships with hiring teams to understand the business and staffing need and become a true talent partner to the organization
  • Help identify appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the company that brings a diverse candidate pipeline for all open positions
  • Lead the preparation and execution of innovative, cost-effective recruiting strategies and plan to meet the organization's strategic goals and talent objectives. Work with Department Heads to identify concerns and develop solutions
  • Refine and manage consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes that ensure a highly positive candidate experience and recruiter/hiring manager efficiencies
  • Proactively recommend and drive process improvements that impact candidate identification and engagement
  • Derive data-driven conclusions on effective means of candidate pipeline generations that can include, social media, education institutions, virtual and in-person tactics, alongside creative out of the box ideas

Team Leadership and Partnership

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, people management and development oversight to the talent acquisition/recruiting team
  • Contact and stay in constant communication with company leaders and HR business partners
  • Source, develop, and implement hiring training programs (e.g. interviewing skills training) to support recruitment and hiring effectiveness
  • Provide analysis and develop programs to ensure an engaged workforce and to build organization bench strength utilizing data to arrive at decisions and recommend solutions
  • Provide project support for various talent management initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed, (e.g. organization design, performance management, talent development).
  • Employ analyses gathered from succession planning, talent management and other initiatives to recommend plans and programs to meet the company’s goals, as appropriate.
  • Lead employment branding initiatives.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or related. (An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered.)
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive responsibility in staffing/recruitment including experience building, developing and leading a team
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing corporate, full-cycle recruitment
  • Travel up to 5% of the time with overnight stays, includes occasional international travel, valid passport required
  • Strategic planning, including developing and implementing recruitment plans
  • Developing and implementing marketing/advertising campaigns designed to address comprehensive diverse sourcing strategies including social media, professional groups and other web-based avenues
  • Creating an employee value proposition and associated employer branding
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong facilitation, diagnostic, and consultative skills
  • Ability to execute in ambiguous situations and take the lead without explicit instructions
  • Strong financial acumen, experience with compensation review and analysis
  • Understanding and use of talent acquisition key performance indicators
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to large groups and very senior levels of management
  • Excellent PC skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong working knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems
