Description


The Role

This position will be responsible for providing user level IT support to New York office and other remote sites, with the focus on Business application user support. 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st/2nd line technical support covering all areas of IT (Software / Hardware) and business applications
  • Provide support to staff onboarding and off-boarding process, including setup, configure, install and deploy computers to users.
  • Logging, prioritizing and escalating of IT issues and requests via our ticketing system
  • Provides employee introductions to various systems/applications and training as needed.
  • Updating and maintaining of hardware asset registers, software licenses, and ticketing system.
  • Manage end user satisfaction, own technical escalations end-to-end, resolve issues by either on-site or with remote support.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and reporting of all hardware and software assets
  • Manage IT projects and other related duties, s.a. equipment & services procurement, vendor supervision, etc.
  • Accountable for managing the service delivery of business applications s.a. MRI real estate Investment software, VTS commercial CRM, Emptoris Vendor management software, etc., promote continuous improvement in productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the outsourced partner and onshore/offshore support resources to provide quality end-to-end service management in the business application space
  • Manage support requests and co-ordinate teams to deliver results timely
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is in place for specific support requirements
  • Support activities regarding application Compliance/CSA/Risk Assessment, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant experience with specialist qualification like MCSE.
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience working in a technical support capacity.
  • Experience with desktop operating systems such as Windows 10.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, AD, MDM, Mobile Devices, etc.)
  • Familiar with WAN/LAN network technology, Citrix, VPN, shared folder management, etc.
  • Previous working knowledge of business application user support, s.a. MRI, VTS, SQL Server, etc. will be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities and good in problem troubleshooting
  • Good team player with strong sense of customer service and sense of urgency
  • Good communication skills, strong ownership
  • Willingness to learn include new technology & application.
