Description


The Role

 

You will work with the Industrial asset and portfolio management teams to create, organize and implement operational projects, internal approvals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Create, oversee and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Mapletree’s Logistics/Industrial properties. These SOPs will relate to leasing, procurement and operations.
  • Oversee/assist in the creation of management committee papers as required to gain internal approvals.
  • Work on ad hoc projects as needed to enhance the efficiency and performance of the team. This is inclusive of the creation of materials which will be presented to senior management, and participation in the actual presentations
  • Be an expert in Mapletree policies, procedures and delegations of authority (DOA) so that you are a resource to the entire team.
  • Ensure compliance with Mapletree SOPs, DOA and best practices.
  • Assist as needed with internal compliance audits.
  • Participate in critical, ongoing operational projects such as budgeting, forecasting, CAM reconciliations, annual valuations and reporting.
  •  Assist as needed with acquisitions and fund syndications.

 

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, preferably in business or finance
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in industrial/logistics properties
  • Prior experience and skills in asset management, property management, operations, and/or real estate financial analysis
  • Ability to drive optimum solutions for all aspects of the logistics team
  • Detail focused and capable of understanding complicated policies and approval requirements
  • High level of independence, as well as excellent leadership and collaboration skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as flexibility/adaptability. Strong writing skills are a must
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Interest in continuous improvement in processes and performance along with a high degree of attention to detail
