Position Title: Acquisitions Analyst/Associate (3-5 years of relevant work experience)
Location: New York, NY
Role Description & Responsibilities:
The Acquisitions Analyst/Associate will participate in acquisitions, deal sourcing, investment underwriting, and due diligence across asset classes and geographies.
- Assist in the underwriting and diligence process across all Pebb Capital investments.
- Research property, financial, market, and legal due diligence matters.
- Prepare marketing presentations and research materials in support of presentations, pitches, offering materials, and other financing activities.
- Prospect and source new investment opportunities.
- Assist senior team leads in all aspects of transactions.
- Maintain/update repository of data, charts, graphics, presentations, and written responses to be used for various marketing needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
The candidate should be a multi-tasker with exemplary communication skills, a fundamental understanding of real estate finance, and have a desire to learn in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial analysis environment in the commercial real estate industry.
- Strong quantitative skills; Microsoft Excel modeling experience required
- Ability to create polished, high quality outputs using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal).
- Candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation and must be able to work independently, across a variety of responsibilities and at a fast pace.
