JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for analyzing information to prepare various reports and loan submission packages, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac submissions. Knows and uses fundamental concepts, practices and procedures associated with commercial real estate finance, including commercial appraising, market analysis and investment analysis.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for analyzing information to prepare various reports, opinions and loan packages. Knowledgeable on fundamental concepts, practices and procedures associated with commercial real estate, including valuation, market analysis, and investment analysis.

Responsible for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac apartment underwriting and production, familiarity with those Agency Guides and associated rules and procedures.

Prepares a variety of analyses, statements and reports for management review; arranges for preparation of graphics or illustrations to include with research findings.

Organizes, evaluates, interprets and summarizes moderate data. Prepares a variety of analyses, statements, and reports for management review; arranges for preparation of graphics or illustrations to include with research findings.

Prepares advanced reports/information for review by Producers. Serves as liaison with clients, lenders (if applicable), and government agencies (if applicable).

Reviews internal and external collateral materials, proofreads content, ensures appropriate branding and approves materials for distribution.

Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Real Estate or Finance, preferably Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Real Estate Sales License preferred but not required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Knowledge of ARGUS preferred.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
