Company: Vectra Management Group (“VMG”) is a private real estate investment and asset management firm specializing in opportunistic real estate investments throughout select markets in the United States. 

Location: New York, NY.

Position: Full-Time Asset Management Analyst. This analyst level position is responsible for financial and market analysis, financial and tax reporting, lease negotiation and processing, construction oversight, and general oversight of assigned assets. This includes regular interaction with tenants, lenders, brokers, attorneys, vendors and investors.

This position is for a proactive individual who strives for self-improvement through hard work and taking the initiative. The individual will learn about VMG and how we conduct our investment business. They will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to support VMG’s businesses and connect with people who can help guide career growth as an investment professional. The individual will quickly become an integral member of the team. They will work directly with principals of the firm on a regular basis and will be
provided with ongoing developmental assignments and gain experience in the pursuit, analysis and completion of real estate investments and in the creation, implementation and management of value creating strategies.

Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in an analytical, business related field.
- 1-2 years’ experience in commercial real estate or applicable internship experience.
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting.
- Strong computer proficiency. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word and Outlook are a necessity).
- Experience with Argus, QuickBooks and/or Yardi are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to multi-task, track responsibilities with varying priorities and meet deadlines.
- Detail oriented, responsible, and conscientious.
- Ability to exercise good judgement working as the principal representative of the firm in a high integrity, professional and
entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:

Asset Management:
- Develop and implement property specific and portfolio level business plans.
- Oversight of property operations, including oversight of 3rd party managers.
- Coordinate with contractors, brokers, lenders and other service providers concerning construction projects, leasing and contract
negotiations, financing, and business services.
- Annual budgeting.
- Review and summarize regular reporting to ensure performance expectations are met.
- Resolution of landlord/tenant issues.
- Investor communications.
- Preparation of investment offering documents.

Analysis:
- Financial projections and cash flow modeling.
- Property valuations.
- Market and property due diligence.

Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with relevant experience; plus performance based bonuses, Simple IRA contribution match, cell phone allowance and health insurance reimbursement.
