Job specification: Research Analyst: US
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard-working and analytical individual to join our US team, reporting to the Head of the US Service. The role will entail:
- Analyzing and reporting upon a variety of real estate sectors in the US
- Assisting with the production of forecasts for US real estate occupier markets
- Undertaking primary and secondary research through sourcing and collecting data, visiting cities and meeting local contacts
- Helping to develop additional sector/alternatives modules and coverage
- Providing direct research inquiry support to our clients on an ad hoc basis
- Relevant experience (1-5 years) is preferred, but not required
Your personal attributes
- An interest and knowledge in commercial property: you will have an interest in property markets, along with broader economic and social trends
- Analytical: you will draw on excellent analytical communication skills, both written and verbally. You will also have an eye for detail and excel at analyzing data and generating insights
- Self-motivating: you will work independently from an early stage, requiring self-motivation and excellent organization and time management skills
- Computing skills: you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. A knowledge of database and mapping packages along with forecasting software is desirable
- Well-rounded: you will be degree educated with a strong academic record
