Asia Capital Real Estate (“ACRE”) is a global real estate investment firm founded in 2011, managing discretionary capital on behalf of private and institutional investors with offices in Singapore, New York and Atlanta. ACRE is seeking an Analyst to join its investment team based in Atlanta. The candidate will be responsible for the analysis of investment opportunities, including market research, data analytics, underwriting, business and financial due diligence, deal execution asset management and a variety of other supporting duties. The position will require the ability to create complex financial models to analyze various real estate related ventures including joint-venture split structures. Additionally, the candidate will be required to assist in creating investment memoranda, conduct in-depth market research and property-level due diligence. The candidate will work closely with senior partners of the firm.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

· Assist senior team members in underwriting, diligence, and execution of property acquisitions, direct lending opportunities and other real estate equity investments, in addition to support on corporate strategy and business projections

· Build complex financial models to assist in underwriting real estate transactions

· Participate in deal structuring and assess optimal capitalization across asset and portfolio levels

· Construct and manage complex financial models to forecast and analyze proforma effects of transaction structures

· Conduct extensive quantitative and qualitative economic, industry and company research and analysis

· Development and documentation of transaction rationale and investment strategy, including preparation and presentation of investment memoranda and investor presentation materials

· Assist portfolio management and capital markets teams with asset valuations, investment summaries and presentations

· Support the finance and operations team with various project accounting and treasury management functions

· Think critically and analyze business intelligence to provide meaningful insight and input to support senior team members in decision-making and strategy execution

· Promote culture of collaboration and be willing to work cross-functionally to add value across the organization

 

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum 2 years of commercial real estate experience

· Bachelor’s degree from a top tier institution

· Presentation skills; ability to deliver compelling and concise presentations

· Strong work ethic and impeccable attention to detail

· Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills

· Solid understanding of Excel with financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis experience

· Critical thinking ability and analytical mindset

· Team player with exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and take initiative
