Asset Management Analyst - Multifamily Denver Location

The Real Estate Asset Management Analyst at AHV Communities works closely with the VP of Asset Management related to ongoing asset management and quarterly valuation activities. Tasks include business and operations analytics, budget and forecasting modeling, weekly updates with preleasing and construction delivery schedules, market analytics utilizing a variety of national reports and providing support to the 3rd party management Multifamily Partners.

Key Responsibilities

· Build out a Quarterly asset reporting model to include a variety of metrics to include rent growth, trade out rent activity, operating expenses, cash flow comparison to historical financial activity, and peer group market analysis

· Weekly Leasing Summary Reports tracking both property management leasing updates and construction delivery dates

· Knowledgeable of demographic analysis and tracking per region.

· Due Diligence coordination on new development projects providing historical operating expenses and rental growth analysis

· Analyze property financials and performance metrics in pursuit of maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses

· Assist in developing annual budgets to achieve the goals of the business plan for each project

· Provide recommendations and implement changes for property improvements based on thorough analysis and experience

· Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the properties and portfolio. Evaluate and report asset performance vs. underwriting targets.

· Provide support for internal and or external investor presentations / deliverables.

· Attend weekly/monthly property operations call with 3rd party property management

· Review monthly/quarterly expense invoices for payment and/or on as-needed basis

· Review annual property operating budgets and business plans; make recommendations where necessary

· Conduct and provide comps analysis as needed

· Create and Buildout an AHV Branded Budgeting Model to include reforecasting tool.

· Assist with pricing analysis on leasing calls

· Proficient with multifamily PMS (OneSite, Yardi, and/or Entrada.

· Knowledgeable of operations budgets and financial reporting.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or Mathematics.

· Proficiency in Financial modeling (Excel)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· Highly self-motivated and hard-working.

· Aptitude to set and achieve goals.

· Analytical thinker with problem solving skills.

· Strong written and verbal communications skills.

· Communicate and work with cross-functional teams and all levels in the organization.

· Results oriented-whatever it takes attitude.

· Ability to keep work environment productive and enjoyable.

· This position requires an ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.

· Some travel required.

· This role will be based in Denver Colorado.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
