Description
Essential Duties:
- Engage Third Party Reports
- Track all incoming deposits, fees and lender expenses on a loan-by-loan basis
- Prepare first drafts of internal closing statements - include tax escrow analysis, insurance escrow analysis, stub interest
- Review settlement statements along with comparing internal net funding worksheets for accuracy
- Lead all loan funding routines
- Follow up with outside counsel on closing binders and closing counsel summary forms and ensure delivery to appropriate places
- Manage the rate lock process for the team
- Work with the Closing Team by reviewing and assisting the team with all KYC/AML requirements – ultimately take lead on individual loans with oversight by Head of Closing
Growth Expectations:
- Maintain loan closing checklists working with deal teams to ensure up to date accuracy
- Assist the Closing Team by reviewing and analyzing third party reports – ultimately take lead on individual loans with oversight by Head of Closing
- Assist the Closing Team by reviewing borrower insurance working with consultants and borrowers on needed revisions – ultimately take lead on individual loans with oversight by Head of Closing
- Assist the Closing Team on documentation matters – term sheets, loan applications and loan documents – ultimately take lead on these matters for individual loans with oversight by Head of Closing
- Assist the Closing Team on documentation/closing issues and resolutions – ultimately take the lead on these matters for individual loans with oversight by Head of Closing
- Assist the Closing Team by reviewing our internal Due Diligence Memos – ultimately take lead on individual DD Memos for individual loans with oversight by Head of Closing
Other:
- Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate financing, investments, or loan servicing transactional role.
- High level of proficiency in Excel is required.
- Ability to regularly work extended hours.
- Must be willing to work on-site and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or request and receive an authorized exemption)
- Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
