Financial Analyst - Commercial Real Estate

We are actively seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to provide analytical support to the Valuation Team who oversees the company’s current investment platform which is focused on the acquisition, development, and on-going portfolio management of industrial real estate. The candidate should be detail-oriented and have a passion for real estate and numbers.  Reporting to a Director, this candidate will be a key member of the Valuation Team.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain portfolio ARGUS Enterprise runs for quarterly reporting.  This includes integrating market rent assumptions, leasing projections and operating budgets into cash flow projections. Prepare valuation numbers and analyze valuation variances.
• Assist in maintaining sale comparable database for quarterly reports and company use.
• Assist with the preparation of investment summaries, financial models and underwriting for potential investments and developments, when needed.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-5 years of commercial real estate financial modeling experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Real Estate.
• ARGUS Enterprise proficiency is required.
• Experience in real estate analytics, underwriting and/or valuations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Individual must be a highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; flexible and adaptable.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, effectively manage time, meet deadlines while reporting milestones along the way, and prioritize multiple tasks.
