Company Overview:

Our client is a publicly traded national real estate investment firm involved in all phases of real estate management, development, and leasing. The company’s 67 properties are located in approximately 17 states with a concentration in the northeast and include shopping centers, office buildings, and single tenant triple net leased properties aggregating approximately 2 million square feet.

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to assist the Property Manager and other members of the property management team in the direction and management of the day-to-day operations, physical condition, financial performance, and administration of the properties in accordance with established owner requirements and company objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of various properties within the portfolio
  • Assist with the management of tenant improvements and capital projects
  • Review and approve expenses on ongoing invoices
  • Assist in preparation of annual operating budgets and monthly financial reports
  • Prepare and coordinate bid proposals and service contracts
  • Assist in lease administration activities
  • Inspect assigned properties in accordance with company procedures
  • Ensure Certificates of Insurance for tenants and vendors are up to date
  • Interact with and be the main point of contact for the building tenants

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of commercial real estate experience preferred
  • High proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Strong written and oral communications skills; able to present information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proactive work ethic with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Is a great team player
  • Construction knowledge and oversight a plus
