Job Description:
The Debt and Structured Finance team in Washington DC is seeking a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will report to three Senior Managing Directors of the Structured Finance team, and will be responsible for financial modeling, underwriting, due diligence, preparation of offering materials and transaction management for debt and equity capitalization requests for all property types.
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial modeling and analysis, including cash flow analysis, Argus analysis, valuation, and joint venture/partner promote structures, debt sizing and loan analysis
- Detailed property underwriting and due diligence material collection, organization and analysis
- Preparation of client and property presentation materials including new business presentations and offering memoranda
- Collection and evaluation of economic, market and real estate research data

Coordination and organization of transaction execution efforts: maintaining and updating investor lists, managing transactions outbound marketing and data rooms, processing closing document requests and client marketing reports
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual pursuing a career in real estate finance, possessing excellent analytical, written communication, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Economics or related field
- Highly skilled with Argus, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office, and must possess superior analytical skills
- One to three years of real estate analyst underwriting experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams, client and capital providers
- Attention to detail and superior work ethic is required
- Willingness and initiative in expanding real estate knowledge regarding product types/classes, geographic markets where the team works, specific submarket dynamics and capital markets generally
