The Senior Analyst/Junior Asset Manager will be involved with all facets of property analysis and will be responsible for portfolio reporting and forecasting. The position will create long-run analyses of managed assets and will support the Asset Management team and serve as a liaison between the Asset Management group and the Development, Property Management, Leasing, Legal, and Accounting teams.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Financial modeling in Excel including cash flow, scenario/sensitivity, hold/sell, and lease analysis
  • Analyzing and assembling quarterly analyses of property performance
  • Assist with transactions by analyzing and modeling loan scenarios
  • Assist in preparing materials for annual investor conferences and quarterly investor calls
  • Preparation, maintenance, and ownership of monthly and quarterly portfolio reports
  • Oversee all aspects of an asset, managing the big picture goals
  • Create and oversee the business plans of assets as well as overseeing all transactions and sales
  • Perform long-term analyses using Argus to project future profits
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks that relate to the asset such as renewing leases and working with lenders
  • Provide advice to CEO with regard to all strategic decision making with assets such as comparing leasing plans

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2-4+ years real estate analytical experience required
  • Superior proficiency in Excel with the ability to build models, improve existing models, strong use of functions
  • Proficient with ARGUS and all Microsoft office programs
  • Motivated and detailed self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to succeed in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Knowledge of MRI a plus
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and continuously perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments to meet daily, weekly, monthly, yearly goals.
  • Ability to multitask and follow up with multiple departments at once
