Position Overview
The Single-Family Marketing and Communications team is seeking a creative leader to direct our growing creative function supporting our Single-Family business. As a vital part of our Single-Family Strategic Marketing & Communications team, you will direct all graphic and website design, copy, video, animation, photography, promotional assets and more. You are a creative force, with marketing savvy and strong leadership presence, who can work across many teams and understand the nuances of daily project management. You have proven experience to lead a team of creative staff and establish and execute design philosophies. Further, you can translate concepts easily to all stakeholders to sell your ideas. From concept through execution, this candidate will improve our user experience by bringing our brand to life. You will also directly manage our talented creative staff.
Responsibilities Include:
* Manage the overall creative direction for the Single-Family business.
* Establish and evolve the creative function's growth model, structure, processes and working tools.
* Collaborate with Strategic Marketing & Communications team to support content marketing (blog, social media assets, and more) and other needs.
* Bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team using your expertise and eye for great design.
* Create and maintain a highly creative, flexible and collaborative atmosphere and culture, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
* Support creative staff with development opportunities and a hands-on understanding of work processes from start to finish.

Qualifications
* 8-10 years of experience in marketing communications or advertising, proven experience as a Creative Director - ideally in an agency setting
* Four-year degree from an accredited college or university
* Expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies
* Proven ability to lead and inspire strategic creative development
* Highly knowledgeable of digital and traditional media, emerging trends, digital creative tools, and user experience
