Real Estate Analyst (retail)

Our client is PE backed retail operation and has recently closed three additional add-on acquisitions, which combined with organic new development, brings the total existing operations to 118 across 10 states (southwest and mid west) and over $125 million in revenue by year end. The company is positioned to double in size and achieve its growth and expansion goals while continuing to prioritize operational excellence and customer satisfaction and retention. Based in Austin, Texas, company is prioritizing growth through new build out and acquisitions across strategic U.S. markets while also executing an aggressive capital improvement program across existing facilities. THE ROLE The Real Estate Analyst will gather information from numerous sources and create actionable insights and visualizations that are easily utilized by the leadership team. You will have a seat at the table, which means you will be sharing your opinion to help drive decisions that will take us in the direction we want to go. You will assemble and maintain the reports and resources that build the analytical tools, reports, and models that will support better decision-making and improve the club development effort. Your role and responsibilities will include: Research/Strategy: Run demographics and analyze markets. Assist in creating and maintaining strategic market plans for all markets. Analyze and track competition, including calls and field research. Project Approvals: Create and assemble materials in preparation for project approvals including market analysis information. Project Coordination: Manage and track the deal flow process. Support the execution of real estate projects from start to finish, working with other departments and external brokers and partners. Reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline reports and tracking tools and communicate updates Graphic Presentation: Create and modify maps, aerials, site plans and other images for presentation. PROFILE - We would love to hear from people with: 1-2 years of relevant work experience in retail or commercial real estate. Foundational knowledge of real estate tools and mapping software. Proficiency in Photoshop and other related tools for graphic manipulation a big plus. Strong graphic/presentation layout skills, including ability to create crisp and clear communication presentations and tailor presentation styles / layouts depending on the intended audience. High level of intellectual curiosity, and demonstrated experience working independently in a fast- paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. Ability to drive to insights and create visualizations. Passion for problem solving and developing new solutions quickly. Sees beyond the question and drives to the root cause, bring higher-level thinking to leaders. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have demonstrated experience supporting real estate production in a fast growing, multi-unit retail company. Four-year degree in business, real estate, project management, or related fields. Strong Excel Skills plus Fluency PowerPoint, real estate analytic tools (such as Buxton, Tango) and familiarity with databases
