Kairos Investment Management Company is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to play an integral role within the department and firm s overall growth. The Investor Relations Associate will grow Kairos network and portfolio, as well as develop a thorough understanding of the current portfolio and services available. This role is responsible for developing client-facing market materials such as responses to RFPs and proposals, producing market intelligence, planning practice group marketing strategy, and targeted client events. The ideal candidate should have a strong "can-do" attitude and must thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented professional culture. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintaining Investor Relationships
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective private and institutional investors
- Follow up with prospects to address questions and assist with decision to subscribe
- Serve as main point of contact for investor inquiries regarding their current investments and related reports and statements
- Provide exceptional and timely customer service to investors; respond to investor inquiries and requests for information
- Interact with a high volume of clients to process investments, update records, answer sophisticated inbound questions and spend time on phone educating investors
- Oversee and assist with the intake, processing and filing of investor documents, and the ongoing posting of distribution notices, tax forms, and account statements
- Update firm and fund information in consultant databases and third-party platforms
- Responsible for quality control of data saved in internal CRM system, including: detailed asset-level information, analysis and reporting, due diligence related to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs)
- Evaluate current and potential processes to improve customer retention and determine best practices
- Assist in the completion of investor due diligence requests
- Maintain approved Q&A document to respond to frequently asked questions from investors and supervise analyst or administrative support in responding to requests via email
- Develop systematic methods for scaling our investments business and improving investor communication
- Create and update marketing materials to maximize engagement of potential and existing investors
- Prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence, and other written materials
- Proofread and edit documents
- Assist with fundraising and ad hoc requests
- MS Office and Excel with a focus on financial analysis
- CRM system admin user
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, listening) and demonstrated ability to create an immediately positive impression
- Ability to understand and clearly explain complex concepts

- Bachelor s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field of study
- 2-4 years of relevant experience at an investment management, investment consulting, wealth management, registered investment advisor, or financial services firm
- Experience in public relations, sales, or marketing is a plus
- FINRA series 7 and 63 or 66 required
- Desire to pursue Series 65, CAIA, or CFA designations is considered a plus
- Experience with offering circulars and investor subscription agreements
- Experience in an investment advisory role with registered investment advisor or otherwise
- Flexibility to work long hours at times
