Description


Senior Commercial Real Estate Manager required for a Premiere Mixed-Use Center located in the Greater Los Angeles Area. The Senior Commercial Real Estate Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects Shopping Center including but not limited to leasing and tenant relations, business planning and financial management, facilities and operational management and control of all maintenance, inspection and safety functions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Develop a structured business plan for the mall covering all key components of Shopping Center operation
  • Develop sales and leasing plans to identify new tenants and negotiate with prospective tenants to maximize income in line with the business plan
  • To prepare, review and adjust financial budgets, systems and processes and monitors performance against budget
  • Develop positive relationships with tenants, suppliers and contractors
  • Prepare plans and schedules for regular and periodic maintenance in conjunction with relevant department heads and follow up on quality and execution
  • Preparation and development of marketing and annual event plans/calendar
  • Follow up on the collection of monies owed from tenants and implementation of contractual terms
  • Resolve complaints and demands of tenants and work to remove the causes of the complaint and respond to their requests within the legal and contractual obligations
  • Follow legal procedures with respect to Shopping Center operations and tenant interactions
  • Oversee tenant fit-outs and capital improvements
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field with strong record of academic achievement, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate analysis
  • Experience in property management/leasing/operations desirable
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Highly-developed negotiation skills; superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment
  • Solid presentation organizational skills
  • Exceptional quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
