Acquisitions Analyst Intern

Position Summary: The Acquisitions Intern supports the firm in all aspects of the transaction process including market analysis, financial modeling, due diligence review and investment memoranda preparation. The analyst also provides support to other divisions including development, leasing, asset management and property management.

Role: Acquisitions Intern

Start Date: Immediate

Location: Summit, NJ (Direct access via New Jersey Transit Train)

Compensation: Commensurate based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed financial modeling utilizing Excel and Argus
• Conduct market research including market rent and sales comp analysis
• Preparation of Financing Memorandums and Investment Memorandums
• Assist with new acquisition due diligence
• Assist with financial reporting
• Ad-hoc tasks related to development, leasing, asset management, property management

Requirements:

• Preferred Master’s student with a focus on real estate and/or business
• Prior training/ability to use Argus is required (Argus test may be issued prior to employment)
• Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to think creatively
• Ability to interpret, develop and present financial analysis and accounting
• Self-motivated and proactive
