We are currently seeking a VP/Director, Capital Markets for our NYC office. This position is focused exclusively on the placement of equity for our commercial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain external relationships with key market participants, including institutional investors and family offices (both domestic and international)
• Raise equity on a transaction by transaction basis for US real estate deals
• Negotiate and structure joint ventures with equity partners
• Partner with Acquisitions team in closing process for new transactions
• Manage the preparation of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits
• Compile and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input into client deliverables
• Review real estate documents and create reports for clients and prospective clients

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field
• 6 to 9 years’ experience in the real estate industry
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills
• Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
• Must be a great team player with an entrepreneurial attitude
• Strong technical skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is required
• Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
