BridgeInvest: Vice President of Finance

BridgeInvest is seeking a full-time Vice President of Finance, responsible for managing accounting, audit, tax, reporting and cash management. The candidate should have management experience with a strong accounting and finance background, extensive knowledge of tax structures and reporting requirements, comprehensive understanding of GAAP accounting, fund management, fund analysis, ability to multitask and excellent attention to detail.


This senior management role is focused on managing books and records for the company and its funds, including cash management, AR/AP, invoicing and loan servicing. The Vice President of Finance will serve as the main point of contact with external tax, audit and fund administrators. Compensation will be competitive and will include a discretionary bonus based on performance.


Main Responsibilities


  • Monthly review and consolidation of books and records, including cash flow management, bank account reconciliation, invoicing, A/P, A/R, categorizing balance sheet and P&L items in Quickbooks
  • Complete monthly budgeting and projections for internal review, including funds LP/GP return projections and roll-forward schedules (including carried interest calculations), deal-by-deal IRR projections and expense projections
  • Develop cash management strategy for cash reserves
  • Create and manage monthly mortgage aging reports (including DSCR sensitivity analyses, loan-to-value, distressed/bad debt projections) for fund banking relationships
  • Conduct regular wire transfers, ACH transfers and bank transfers
  • Open and close bank accounts for new companies and manage company registration
  • Liaise with external CPAs for annual accounting and tax review
  • Coordinate with external fund auditors and manage the audit process
  • Collaborate with Chief Compliance Officer to manage SEC and Florida state registration and audit
  • Monitor electronic documents, AML/KYC onboarding (including FATCA, CRS, W-8 and W-9 forms)
  • Maintain all investor tax and KYC documents, as well as quarterly reports



  • Minimum of 7-10 years of finance, audit, and operations experience
  • Experience in financial services or real estate preferred
  • Self-starter attitude with ability to act independently and foster creative solutions
  • Management experience with proven ability to lead teams and consistently deliver results
  • Mastery of Quickbooks Office Pro, Excel, Word
  • Natural leadership skills, poise and professional demeanor
  • Sharp attention to detail with ability to develop processes
  • Bachelor degree required, finance and accounting concentrations preferred; CPA preferred
