BOOKKEEPER / RECEPTIONIST WANTED
Real Estate office in South Orange, NJ is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Receptionist with ability to multi-task.
Must have experience working in a bookkeeping function at a Real Estate Management Office, and/or related business..
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping duties – A/P, A/R and banking
- Track K-1s for investments
- Coordinate with various bank institutions regarding funding, transfers, and account openings
- Assist accountants with year-end tax work for partners/owners
- Reception and phones
- Interact with tenants, vendors, etc.
- Maintain tenant records, leases, rent rolls and contact information
- Office and administrative duties
Qualifications:
- 5+ years bookkeeping experience
- 2+ years administrative experience
- Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Outstanding work ethic and willingness to learn
- Proficient in MRI or other related real estate accounting software
Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications (+/-$60,000) and job includes single coverage health insurance.
