The District of Columbia’s Housing Authority is seeking candidates for the position of Associate Vice President Development in its Office of Capitol Programs (OCP).

The Associate Vice President, Development is charged with the responsibility of and accountability for the implementation and management of multiple teams and developments of the Office of Capital Programs (OCP). This includes developing and executing real estate strategy in support of DCHA’s mission in collaboration with executive and senior management.  Primary focus shall include the day-to-day real estate activities related to the acquisition, rehabilitation and development of affordable and market rate housing; management of public and privately funded program grants; and program budget/funding accounts and income. 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Business administration, real estate or other related field; and at least (7) seven years work experience in public or private sector housing, affordable housing, or real estate redevelopment environment; and at least (2) two years senior level management experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience which meet the minimum qualifications requirement.
