Description
Responsible for administration and underwriting of a Multi-Family, Underlying Co-Op, Mixed Use, Retail, Office, Industrial and Construction loan portfolio under approved loan policies, guidelines and procedures.
Essential Duties:
- Assist the Portfolio Management Team with administration and servicing of a commercial real estate mortgage portfolio
- Review third party reports including Appraisal Reports, Environmental Reports, Credit Reports and other credit documentation and make recommendations to support the final credit decision.
- Ensure that loan all supporting credit documentation is contained in the file and appropriately analyzed to support the final credit decision.
- Assist with research and data collection to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Collect and analyze commercial real estate income and expenses and generate income statements.
- Assist Loan Team with processing questions or concerns.
- Prepare memos and reports as required including loan summaries, pipeline reports, and other reports.
- Ensure that all credit information entered into the loan origination system is accurate.
- Review information for portfolio loans, recommendation of work for escrow releases, requests for extensions and or modification of loan terms.
- Adheres to regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Behaves in a manner that is consistent professional standards.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Four-year College Degree in finance, economics, math or related major
- Desire to learn about commercial real estate lending
- Competency in creating and administering SQL databases.
- Knowledge of PYTHON programming language
- Experienced in analysis of large amounts of data.
- Energetic and driven to succeed
- Good communication skills – written and oral
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Highly organized
Our office is located about 1.5 miles north of the Westchester County Airport on the border of NY and CT. Employee may work a hybrid schedule (part remote, part in office)
