Mountain Pacific Holdings (MPH), a Los Angeles-based real estate investment company, is seeking a full-time Asset Management Analyst to support our current portfolio. MPH, and its predecessor Mountain Capital Partners, have invested over $450 Million in U.S. real estate, capitalizing over $2 Billion of development and opportunistic value-added transactions over the past 6 years.

Key Responsibilities
- Support in building asset management reporting infrastructure.
- Provide direct reporting and analysis to the Asset Management & Operations team.
- Contribute to investor reporting and correspondence.
- Conduct detailed property-level analyses of Residents/in-place leases, capital projects, operating and financial statements, market and competitive position, and other relevant information.
- Manage and contribute to the preparation of property-level business plans and budgets; analyze property performance relative to business plan targets.
- Help prepare and provide weekly summary reports, property status reports, and quarterly reports while meeting established deadlines.
- Help to manage the third-party tax consulting relationship that provides oversight on all real estate and personal property taxes, including assessment values, tax appeals, and monitoring costs/billing.
- Maintain and help evolve the internal KPI report to assist the Operations Team in improving decision making.
- Contribute to the creation of property reports for presentation to investors, including, but not limited to quarterly investor reports; will include crafting performance highlights for investor reporting.
- Contribute to maintaining internal company reports and financial collection and disbursement.
- Participate in other duties and projects as they arise.
- Assist with draws and AP reconciliation.
- Review market surveys and market conditions weekly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in real estate investment analysis or asset management.
- Exceptional skills in MS Office required.
- Advanced in Excel, including financial modeling techniques.
- Experience with property management software solutions like AppFolio, RealPage, and/or LRO preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A high degree of self-motivation and initiative, confidence, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent problem-solving skills and judgment, and the ability to take ownership of work with only periodic direction.
- Attention to detail, persistence, and the ability to multi-task.
- Familiarity with multifamily real estate required.
