Description
Our real estate investment management firm, located in LA County, is looking to hire a property manager to manage a small, high density, commercial portfolio, in Central Orange County. The position will be onsite based in Orange County.
Duties include:
- Day-to-day interaction with tenants, vendors, and brokers
- Perform property inspections
- Lease implementation
- Ability to read and interpret lease documents
- Assist in negotiating leases and prepare renewals with existing tenants
- Negotiate and solicit vendor contracts
- Prepare annual operating budgets
- Prepare variance/operational monthly reports to ownership
- Rent collection and prepare 3-Day/Default Notices, as required
- Maintains building systems, oversees maintenance for services and supervise repairs
- Assist with maintaining certificates of insurance for tenants and vendors
- Support and implementation of tenant improvement and capital improvement projects
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- 3+ years of experience in commercial property management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Yardi
- Experience with annual budgeting
- Experience with lease negotiation
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication
- Strong time management, analytical and organizational skills
